I want to remember you like this, Dim lights, pure eyes and a soft kiss. No more wanting for this or that, Give me this memory when I am old and fat. I want to see you smiling at me, Your eyes piercing like the great blue sea. But, perhaps, This will be the one memory I forget. And all I will see is you laughing a bit. Or, maybe, sitting on the couch with a cup of grey tea. This will be the only thing I see. I bet memories of all sorts will flood my brain, When I follow Death into the rain. But, I want to remember the way you look at me, So that I know it was not a dream.
